Friday is finally here! This week was a good one. Very busy with work and baby preparation stuff. I am looking forward to this weekend even though it's supposed to be cold and even a little snowy. On the agenda this weekend:

- Date night with the hubs. Dinner at one of our favorite restaurants and then a movie. Any recommendations?
- Returning some duplicate gifts we got through the two showers.
- Volunteering on Saturday afternoon.
- Saturday night keeping in low key
- Sunday is for reading and decompressing.

So happy today is Friday! This week was incredibly busy at work which left me coming home each day cooking and promptly falling asleep on the couch. Poor husband, i've been pretty bleh the last couple days. This weekend should be super fun:

+ Friday, hanging out with one of my longest dearest friends to catch up. Here's to hoping I dont fall asleep at 8:00!
+ Saturday morning manicures/pedicures with my mom
+ Getting my eyebrows threaded
+ Shopping
+Cleaning the house and getting everything organized
+ Sunday getting my hair did
+ My first baby shower is on Sunday!

I am so excited to see everyone and eat some delicious food. What are your plans for the weekend?

After a particularly frazzled Friday, I am ready to get this weekend started! We have another busy weekend as per usual with the summer. Here is what's on the agenda.

+ Harry Potter Deathly Hallows Part II in 3D in the luxury seats at the theater. (if you are going to do it, you gotta do it right.)
+ Celebrating father in law's birthday
+ Good food
+ Laughter
+ Tiger Game
+ Hanging with family + friends
+ Catching up with some reading
+ Taking more pictures
+ Sleeping in
+ Hanging out by the pool.

Happy Friday!!! Have a super fun weekend planned and to top it off, it’s a 4 day weekend for me, huzzah!!!

This Holiday weekend will include:

• An invigorating massage from the spa
• Hanging out poolside
• A birthday dinner
• Firework parties
• Breakfast with the usual's
• A trip to the DIA
• Going to see a documentary I've been waiting to see
• Family and friend get together's
• Soaking up the sun
• Eating too many s'mores
• Drinking too much wine
• Grilling some delicious food
• Catching up with my summer reading
• Thanking God for all my blessings.

Weekend Agenda

TGIF! I cant believe the weekend is almost here. This is was an odd one for me - esp with the blizzard in the middle of the week which left me feeling like Thursday was Monday.... aye!

I am looking forward to this weekend.

Friday I plan on getting organized and catching up on some reading



Everyone has been talking about it, I am only on Chapter 3 and so far - I like it!

On Saturday I plan on sleeping in a little, enjoying a lazy morning and having a date night with the hubs with a prize I won. If you're in the metro-detroit area, on Channel 95.5 there is this competition on their morning show called "Smarter than Shannon" where they ask you 5 pop culture questions and who ever gets the most wins, if you tie you loose. Well I got 4/5 right and she got 5/5 right - BUT i still got a prize. It was dinner certificates and movie passes at the Emagine. I really want to go see



Sunday is of course the BIG GAME - Steelers vs. Greenbay Packers



I dont care too much who wins, but I AM looking forward to all the food and of course the commercials! ( what a girl thing to say!)

What are you up to this weekend?

Downtown

Today has been such a fun day! My mom and I decided to have a fun day out in Downtown Birmingham/Royal Oak area. As I waited for her to arrive, I hung out with the little one. She and I played on the bed with her toys... I just love her!



Afterwards, my mom stopped by and we were off. We had such a great time going in and out of shops, sipping coffee, eating the most dfelcious, smallest cupcake on the face of the earth. We met some interesting people, looked at some amazing (and expensive) items and topped off the day with a great movie and a delicious dinner at DeLucas. It was a great day, and luckily even though it was cold, we had the sun shinning down.

























I had such a great time with my mom. And I was so excited and proud that I learned some new tricks with my camera. It has been far to long since I picked it up, but when I did it felt like I never put it down. :)
